Looking for a fun way to meet new people, enjoy a healthy lunch, and express your creativity? SAIVA invites adults ages 55 and older to attend FABRIC, a free creative aging program designed to build friendships, encourage connection, and inspire creativity in a welcoming environment.
The next FABRIC session will be held on Wednesday, August 19, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Lackawanna Station, 1 Lackawanna Plaza, Montclair.
Participants will enjoy an afternoon of engaging activities, including gentle meditation and chair yoga, bingo over lunch, and a hands-on art class inspired by renowned contemporary artist Yayoi Kusama. No artistic experience is required, making this a perfect opportunity to try something new while meeting other older adults in the community.
The event is free, lunch is provided, and all adults ages 55 and older are welcome. Registration is required because seating and lunches are limited.
