Peter Yacobellis, Councilor-At-Large, has been able to partner with the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission and the Montclair Library to bring their mobile unit to Montclair to give seniors, people with disabilities, and people without the means to get to a MVC site, the opportunity to have critical services performed right here in Montclair.
The first mobile unit event will take place on Thursday, March 30th outside of the Montclair Public Library at 50 S. Fullerton from 10:00am – 2:00pm, offering license and registration renewals, non-driver ID support, license plate surrender, disability and veteran placard issuance, miscellaneous other services and limited REAL-ID appointments on a first come first serve basis.
REAL-ID appointments can be scheduled by clicking here. All other services are for walk-ups. Residents should ensure they bring proper documentation for the services they’re seeking. Documentation requirements can be found here. Additional documentation is required for REAL ID. That list can be found here.
