Please join us on October 15th, 1-2:30 pm for a senior-focused candidate forum for Montclair’s open Town Council seat. The three candidates vying for the seat – Antoinette “Toni” Martin, Mariana Horta, Kyle Porro – will be presenting their positions on the state of services for the nearly 12,000 residents of Montclair who are 55 years and older. Our cohort account for 25 percent of the township population and currently receives about one percent of the budget. The Counselor-At-Large position represents citizens from all four wards. Our numbers are strong so our thoughts and, especially, our votes count. Join us for a great discussion group.
The forum, sponsored by Aging in Montclair and Montclair Gateway to Aging in Place, will take place in the auditorium of the Mills Building at 60 S. Fullerton Avenue, next door to the Montclair Public Library.
If possible, let us know ahead of time that you will be there and also please complete the Registration Form that gives space for your concerns.
